Cleaning Your Treadic Deck

Treadic decking is built to perform in harsh marine conditions while enhancing the comfort and style of your boat. Its premium EVA/PE foam delivers a soft, secure feel underfoot and a clean, modern look that lasts. Regular and proper cleaning will help extend the life of your deck and keep it looking its best for years to come.

Built to Stay Clean

Made from closed cell EVA/PE foam, Treadic decking is completely waterproof and naturally stain resistant. Dirt, grime, and spills stay on the surface, so cleanup takes minutes instead of hours.

Everyday Cleaning

For regular wash downs, mix 1 tablespoon of Dawn dish soap per gallon of water. Scrub with a medium bristle brush, rinse thoroughly, and you’re done. For best results, clean soon after use. The sooner you clean, the easier it is.

Tough Stains

For heavier messes like oil, blood, or sunscreen, use a marine safe cleaner made for EVA foam or a mild degreaser. Work it in gently, let it sit a few minutes, and rinse well.

Rust or Hardware Marks

A capful of vinegar or oxalic acid can help remove rust stains. Let it soak for 3 to 5 minutes, lightly scrub, and rinse. Avoid getting harsh chemicals on the edges or seams.

Quick Rinse Option

A light duty pressure washer works great too. Keep a safe distance and use a wide spray tip to watch the day wash right off.

Pro Tip

Rinse early, clean often, and your Treadic deck will keep looking brand new for years to come.
