Tread patterns

The pattern does more than look good

Tighter spacing reads more traditional; wider spacing reads modern and shows off the accent color.

Detail work

Logos, names and inlays

Because everything is cut from a vector file, artwork is just another shape in the drawing. Boat names, hull numbers, club burgees, tournament logos and fish silhouettes can be routed through the top layer or inlaid as a separate color.

  • Routed reveal — artwork cut through to the accent layer
  • Multi-color inlay — separate pieces fitted like marquetry
  • Contrast border strips along coamings and hatch edges

Send vector artwork if you have it. If you only have a photo or a printed logo, we can usually redraw it.

How to choose without regretting it

Three things worth thinking about before you fall in love with a design.

01

Heat

Dark foam runs hotter in the Florida sun. If you fish barefoot at noon, lean lighter on large open areas.

02

Hull & upholstery

Match the accent to your stripe or your cushions and the whole boat reads intentional instead of accessorized.

03

Resale

Teak-and-black and gray-and-black are the safest for value. Bold combos are great — just know your buyer.
